Skilled Maintenance

Location: Orlando, FL

Pay Rate: $ 19.65 Hour

Hours: 1st Shift (Monday to Friday)

Job Type: Full Time

Summary:

We are looking to hire people who have a positive attitude and give off a cheerful demeanor. We need a skilled maintenance worker to perform essential upkeep tasks throughout the facility. The candidate needs to have basic maintenance repair and replacements skills to building systems, including but not limited to chilled, and hot water pumps, and electrical and plumbing systems.

Previous Experience Required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sanitizing of facilities.

• Maintain clean working equipment and supplies sufficient for the job.

• Plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation air conditioning, Painting, and Carpentry.

• Repair and maintain air ventilators.

• Perform carpentry repairs.

• Repairs and replaces heating components, valves, and soft water.

• Ability to use various electrical meters and construct and install power supplies.

• Inform the supervisor of repairs requiring work orders.

• Should have the ability to read blueprints.

• Operate electronic equipment and utilize telecommunication devices.

• Operate essential tools and equipment.

• Perform minor repairs and touch up painting.

• Use electrical meter to install power supplies.

• Operate essential tools and equipment.

• Able to operate vehicle as necessary.

• Understand and follow written/oral instructions.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

• 2 - 5 years of experience in the field or a related area.

• Use of hand-held electronic equipment.

• Knowledge of general maintenance. (1.e. electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, etc.)

• Valid Driver s License.

• Must be able to pass a background.

Physical Requirements:

• Heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
