Job Position: Canvassers
Location: Orlando, FL 32803
Pay Rate: $18.06/hr.
Job Summary:
As a canvasser, you will engage with community members to gather opinions, promote initiatives, and encourage participation in campaigns or causes. Your role is vital in building relationships and raising awareness about specific issues or organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outreach: Visit designated neighborhoods or areas to engage residents in conversations about specific topics, campaigns, or surveys.
- Data Collection: Record responses accurately and report feedback to the campaign manager or designated supervisor.
- Educate: Provide clear and accurate information about the campaign, initiatives, or organizations you represent.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive interactions with community members to encourage ongoing engagement and support.
- Event Promotion: Promote upcoming events or initiatives and encourage attendance.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to share insights and improve outreach strategies.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with diverse populations and handle various opinions.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Previous canvassing or sales experience is a plus.
- Passion for the cause or organization you represent.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Flexible hours, Monday thru Friday.
