As an Assistant Technical Director, your responsibilities may include:
Bachelor's Degree required. PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AS WELL.
**CONTRACTORS LICENSE REQUIRED**
1. **Assisting the Technical Director**: Collaborating closely with the Technical Director in overseeing technical operations within the organization.
2. **Maintenance Supervision**: Directing and supervising maintenance staff in the completion of maintenance tasks, repairs, and renovations across housing properties.
3. **Project Management**: Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and renovation projects within the housing authority's properties.
4. **Budgeting and Cost Control**: Supporting the Technical Director in budget planning, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are completed within allocated budgets.
5. **Compliance and Regulation**: Ensuring that all maintenance and construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
6. **Vendor and Contractor Management**: Managing relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers involved in maintenance and construction projects.
7. **Technical Expertise**: Providing technical expertise and guidance to maintenance staff, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed.
8. **Reporting and Documentation**: Preparing reports, maintaining records, and documenting maintenance activities, project progress, and expenses.
9. **Emergency Response**: Assisting in developing and implementing emergency response plans and protocols for maintenance-related emergencies.
10. **Continuous Improvement**: Identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and efficiency gains within the maintenance and construction operations.
11. **Communication**: Maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders, residents, and external partners to ensure smooth operations and resident satisfaction.
12. **Training and Development**: Supporting the training and development of maintenance staff to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to their roles.
Monday - Friday 40 hrs. a week
Pay Range between 70K - 80K based on experience.
